Tony had years of experience as a Tile Contractor prior to the opening.  It was the experience and knowledge of the tile industry that was immediate success for Davidson Gold Ceramic Tile & Supply.  Originally located south of Mooney’s Grove Park, Davidson Gold Ceramic Tile & Supply imported many Italian made tiles and was a distributor of many well-known tile brands such as American Olean, Walker & Zanger and American Universal Country Floors. Today the tile market is world wide and we continue to bring in name brands from all over the world.

In 1993 four of Tony and Betty’s children became 2nd generation owners of Davidson Gold Ceramic Tile & Supply.  This is also the time when the business moved to a new 10,000 square foot facility.  In total 6 children and many 3rd generation family members are part of Davidson Gold Ceramic Tile & Supply.    

In 2005 the Company moved its operation to the Visalia Industrial Park near the Highway198 and Highway 99. The New facility is 40,000 square feet with a large showroom, tile and materials in stock along with a big selection of granite, quartz, quartzite & marble slab warehouse.

The Founders of Davidson Gold Ceramic Tile & Supply, Tony and Betty Martinho, made a commitment to their customers to provide quality products, exceptional service and an unforgettable relationship.  This is commitment is still seen today through the 2nd, 3rd & 4th generations of Tony and Betty. 

Betty can still be seen periodically walking through the halls visiting with her family.  Tony’s presence and service is still seen by hundreds of people in the community every week as they use the Tony Martinho Basketball Court as a reminder of his commitment to the community.
